the cutest Canadian passport on record

a lot of people have been asking about when we’re returning home to Regina

today, we began applying for Madoc’s passport and Canadian citizenship…check out the cutest passport baby photo ever:

this process will take 3-4 weeks, so we won’t be back in Regina until Dec. 19 (Lord willing)

in some ways I feel like we’ve missed out on almost 11 months of Madoc’s life…

but how else could he have greeted us with a huge grin?

both Kai and Rylan screamed bloody murder the first time they saw us

God works in mysterious and wondrous ways…bringing us to this point

I remember distinctly knowing that our son was alive and bouncing around South Africa, but we didn’t know who he was yet and he didn’t have the foggiest clue who we were

and yet we prayed diligently for this one child who we didn’t yet know

the ladies (Sonia & Lynne) from Hope House (pictured above) gave us over 1000 pictures and videos from the first 11 months of Madoc’s life – what a blessing to be able to see our son grow, even though we weren’t there

they  go above and beyond anything we could have imagined – what an honour to watch the video of our Siyabonga being dedicated at church as the pastor prayed that God would bring a family for our boy

it is utterly humbling to be smack-dab in the middle of God’s will and see the fulfillment of our prayers

until the next post – thanks for reading
